Morocco produced a dramatic comeback to beat Haiti 4-2 in a thrilling Group C match at Atlanta Stadium, turning a difficult first half into a statement win full of character, pressure and late goals.

The match started badly for Morocco when Yassine Bounou scored an own goal in the 10th minute, giving Haiti an early 1-0 lead. The Atlas Lions needed a response, and Achraf Hakimi delivered it in the 39th minute, bringing Morocco level with an important goal before half-time.

But Haiti refused to step back. Wilson Isidor struck in the 43rd minute to restore Haiti’s lead and put Morocco under real pressure again. Just when it looked like Haiti would go into the break ahead, Ismael Saibari scored in stoppage time at 45+1’ to make it 2-2 and completely change the feeling of the match.

The second half became a test of patience for Morocco. Haiti defended, made changes, and tried to slow the rhythm, while Morocco kept pushing for the goal that would put them ahead for the first time.

Late in the game, Gessime Yassine added the fourth goal in the 89th minute, sealing a 4-2 win and giving Morocco a big result after a match full of twists.
